📢 Send guests a notice when an SMS or WhatsApp chat starts
Your agent can now send your own notice before its first reply in every new SMS or WhatsApp conversation.
Use it for the consent or privacy text that your web chat already shows in the widget. Guests read it before the agent's first reply, word for word as you wrote it. Your agent does not read the notice, and it does not count as an interaction.
Set it up in two steps. First, go to Organization Settings, open the Chat Settings tab, and write your text in In-conversation notice under Consent. Pick a language in the Language dropdown to add a version for each language your guests use. Then open an agent's Channels page and switch on Send the in-conversation notice for each SMS or WhatsApp channel that should send it.
The notice is plain text with up to 1,600 characters. Write links out in full. The agent sends it only when a guest starts the conversation, not in outreach messages.
