Set Up Your Brand Name, Logo, and Colors
Where to Find These Settings
- Open your Organization settings.
- Select the Brand tab.
You'll see two sections: Basic (your Organization name) and Brand Settings (your logo and colors).
Organization Name
In the Basic section, enter your Name. This is your Organization's display name, so use the name you want people to see.
Logo
In the Brand Settings section, add your logo in the Logo Url field.
This is a web address, not a file upload. Your logo image has to be hosted somewhere public first, so it has a link the chat can load. You might already have one on your website, or you can upload the image to your own image host or content delivery service. Once it's online, copy the direct link to the image (a URL ending in something like .png, .jpg, or .svg) and paste it into the Logo Url field.
After you paste the link, a preview shows your logo with your brand colors so you can check it looks right. If the preview doesn't appear, the link probably doesn't point straight to a publicly reachable image. Use an https:// link so it loads on secure websites.
Brand Colors
Set your two brand colors with the color pickers. Click a swatch to choose a color or paste a hex value like #7c63fc.
-
Primary Color: your main brand color, used for the chat indicator (the button guests click to open the chat). The default is
#7c63fc. -
Secondary Color: used for the chat indicator's text color. The default is
#1cdde6.
Set the colors you want, then save your changes.
Note: These colors style the chat indicator. The colors inside the chat window (message bubbles, backgrounds, and text) are set separately on the Chat Settings tab. See Customize Your Chat Widget's Colors, Spinner, and Controls.
Good to Know
- These settings apply to your whole Organization, so every Agent and chat widget uses them.
- Colors use hex values in the format
#RRGGBB. - Your logo must stay hosted at its URL. If that link stops working or moves, the logo won't load, so keep it live.
- Changes take effect the next time a guest loads your chat widget.
What's Next
With your brand name, logo, and colors in place, finish customizing the chat experience and prepare for launch:
- Customize Your Chat Widget's Colors, Spinner, and Controls -- style the inside of the chat window
- Set Up the AI Disclaimer and GDPR Notice -- add the consent messages guests should see
- Agent Settings to Review Before Going Live -- run through the pre-launch checklist
